Home Inspection Report

With every home inspection we do, we provide a detailed report. This gives you a breakdown of what we found during the inspection. A word of caution here is that a home inspection is simply a “snapshot” of the condition of the building systems at the time of the inspection. We look for major deficiencies and unsafe conditions; however, we cannot assure you that the house is free of major structural or other problems. We can only do a visual inspection and point out things of concern.

We thoroughly look over both the interior and exterior of the building. We check things like the roof and the exterior surface or siding. Inside, we look at floors, stairs, walls, ceilings, windows, appliances, fire places, HVAC system, water heaters and more.

We recommend that clients attend the home inspection so they can walk through the house with us and see what we see. More than just seeing any problems that we point out, the client can understand more about the home. They can learn more about how the appliances and HVAC system work in the home and often get pointers on how to maintain things. Sometimes there are small issues that may be something to fix down the road. By attending the home inspection, the owner or future owner can gain valuable information that they might not have known otherwise.

Within 24 hours of the inspection, you will receive an eight-page report detailing what we found. With the report are three additional sections that explain how to maintain various exterior and interior items in the home. This is useful information you can keep for years to come.
